Small Form Factor Spool Holder with narrower base to fit standard 1 kg spools

The base of the original model was 6mm too wide to hold any of my spools (4 different brands which were consistent)

Love this minimalist holder - exactly what I wanted for trying to fit all into a soft enclosure (so can't hang anything from the sides or top). I went a bit more sloppy, layer height of .22, 2 walls and tops and bottoms, 10% gyroid fill.  I used PLA (ELEGOO) because I thought the firmness might help with rigidity for the bearings, etc.  The 608 bearings fit very tightly in their rings and a little loose on their axels.

However, the gap between the rollers was 6mm too wide to fit any of my standard 1 kg spools (across 4 brands which were consistent). I remixed this in TinkerCAD just cutting out a 6mm slice in the middle to preserve all the other dimensions. It fits them perfectly now. Thanks again for this great concept and all the other files. I'll post the new base in the remix in case it's helpful to someone. The remixed base is on the left, original on the right.

Next I want to design a clip on that will offer a PTFE 4.0 OD diameter holder to work in my environment.

Prusa Mk4 with Input Shaper and MMU3 - slicer 2.7.4, firmware 6.0.0 - all the most current software as of 6/2/24.
