Boya BY-MM1 microphone stand

Hello,

Today I will present a few parts needed to assemble a lightweight stand for the Boya BY-MM1 microphone or any other hot-shoe mounted.

My version is mounted to my children's bed, which stands next to the desk where we work. The stand can be removed in a second because it is not attached with any screws, and is held only by its weight.

The tubes in the photos come from window blinds that I recently replaced. The tubes have an 18 mm outer diameter. So that you can adapt the project to your requirements, I am attaching, among other things, files in Fusion360 format.

The project consists of three printed parts:

• a stand attachment to the bed
• an adjustable connection of two tubes,
• a hot-shoe connector for the microphone.

Of course, you can design your stand connections for your desk, but I decided to mount it on furniture other than the desk because in this way the vibrations of the desk on which I perform various activities are not transferred to the stand.
