Intex above-ground framed pool accessories

My new Intex Pool didn't come with a surface skimmer but it does include this wonderful ionizer surface jet that lends itself well to the task.

It's a simple bracket that holds a skimmer net in the flow of the jet, pushing surface debris into the net.

I then realized I could also use a modification of the skimmer bracket to steady the ladder. If you have one of these pools you know how wobbly the ladder can be on the top rungs. The ladder steady brackets can just clip to the ladder but I use a Velcro strap to keep them locked on. These brackets make the ladder significantly steadier and are quick release if you want to move the ladder out of the way.
