BT-50 Rocket Parts

NOTE: As I further develop BT-50 parts I'll be adding them to this posting, so you may want to check back from time to time.

For example today I added the SpaceX Dragon 2 capsule.

Nose Cones and fin cans all designed to fit an Estes BT-50 and the fin cans support a BT-20 motor tube.

There is a notched fin that allows you to use a motor clip easily

The Initiator Nose cone with the (vented) payload section can accommodate a PerfectFlite Firefly. http://www.perfectflite.com/Firefly.html

The launch lugs are designed to work on their own or be improved with the insertion of a standard paper tube launch lug. The three sizes cover different offsets needed for various payloads that overhang the BT-50.

Notes:

I usually set the number of parameters to 3 to make sure the fins are printed solid. I generally don't use infill for these either.

If you print the fin cans in the current orientation you shouldn't need supports.
