This contour replicator employs thin PLA-printed pointers to copy shapes and then transfer the shape to another surface for cutting.
The clamping mechanism and flat plate are printed as a single print. The lever has a 0.2 clearance from the plate and shaft, so it breaks free with a little torque. It is not very efficient. I could simply hold the pins with my hand when measuring and replicating the pipe contour shown in the photo.
The measuring pins are sufficiently flexible to slip over the end of the flat plate. You will need about three prints of the pins.
