I bought the Southord tubular lock picks and 2 practice locks. They are very awkward to hold and try to pick open. I had also recently purchased Sparrows progressive lock set. The shape of the Sparrows lock body was very comfortable in the hand. So I decided to make a body along the same lines and shape of the Sparrows lock body, but make it work for tubular locks. In the end I printed 2 bodies. One for my 7 pin lock and one for my 8 pin lock.

On Cura's FAST setting this took about 1 hour to print.

Post-Printing

I made the hole that you put the lock into very tight. I had to use an xacto knife to trim the inner diameter of the whole to fit the lock into the body. Then I just applied pressure to fit it in.

How I Designed This

I designed the who thing in Tinkercad. I used Sparrows new lock body design and streched it to fit the tubular locks. I also left enough room to fit something (I used the back of the xacto knife blade) down the back to tighten the hex nut.
