Because I was lazy and I like/wanted a small simple on/off switch on a night stand lamp, not to fiddle with my phone just to turn off a bulb, I designed this simple and cheap solution that accommodates a IKEA light strip (VATTENSTEN LED lighting strip, white, 1 m).
Shade: I used LW-PLA and printed in vase mode. I really like how the shades look and feel, also I believe it spreads the light a bit better.
Base: One could use whatever material comes to mind. I used PETG, matte black, no special settings, just some support for the overhanding parts.
Upper: PETG in white, so that it's transparent. Needs to be glued in to the shades.
Tower: One would need to print two of those and stack them together. As tubes take long to print, I cut it in two pieces.
v.1
The author remixed this model.
The shade remains the same, no changes here. The base that holds the shade, is changed so that it could accommodate a IKEA VATTENSTEN LED lighting strip. Also added a ring that should hold the shade and could be clipped in to this base.
