Breville Expresso Portafilter Knock Cap (Bang Safe!)

Introducing the “Bang Safe!" portafilter safety clip.  I designed this to fit the Breville 54mm Portafilter (BES870XL) but it may work for other 54mm portafilters YMMV.  Please see the photos for more detail on how this attaches to the assembly.

Ideally this should be printed with a stronger material like PETG but I've had good success with basic PLA for this functional part.  

The model does require supports and I've included these in the .3mf file as well as accompanying .gcode. 

Hopefully this helps you avoid the frustration I've had loosing our filters when I knock the spent grinds a tad too violently and the ENTIRE filter assembly goes in the garbage…
