Description

PDF

Three of these cleats are on the Hobie 16 mast: the jib and main halyard are riveted; the downhaul is attached to the luff groove with special square nuts.

Parts required to install as a halyard cleat:
- 2x 3/16x5/8" 6-10 stainless steel pop rivets (#8010120)

Parts required to install as a downhaul cleat:
- 2x #10-32x1" stainless steel screw (#8030110)
- 2x #10-32 stainless steel square nut (#8051300)

I printed mine out of PA6-CF. PETG-CF or PETG-GF could probably be used as well. I recommend printing the cleat on its side to improve strength.

Part #10730010 in the Hobie catalog.
