Parametric Large Spool Holder

Made for Fillamentum 2.5kg spools, however, the model is parametrized so you can adjust it to pretty much any spool. It uses regular 608 bearings. Parts are press fit, no screws or glue required.

I recommend printing the bearing rack in the orientation it will be used in. It will require some supports. The print lines should be perpendicular to the load.

If there is some other common large spool size that is slightly different to this, please comment the dimensions of the spool and the manufacturer so I can add it to the files for easier access.

 

This model looks the same, but has has different dimensions and is made from scratch. Main advantage is that the bearings have proper spacing so they don't rub the walls. Additionally parts connect more rigidly together.
