The STL file can be divided into parts for easier coloring. AMS recommended.
Printing on textured plate:
- Use slightly higher nozzle and bed temperature for the first layer when printing to have fewer gaps between colors
- Print slower for better quality, set initial layer and initial layer infill to 50 mm/s, outer wall, inner wall and top surface to 100 mm/s
Printing on smooth plate:
- Set initial layer height at 0.1 mm and initial layer width 0.3 mm
- Use slightly higher nozzle and bed temperature for the first layer when printing to have fewer gaps between colors
- Print slower for better quality, set initial layer and initial layer infill to 20 mm/s, outer wall, inner wall and top surface to 100 mm/s
Adding holes for magnets
- You can easily add holes for magnets in the slicer
- Right-click on the objects and select Add negative part - cylinder
- Scale the cylinder to the size of your magnets, make it slightly bigger so the magnet can fit in
- Place the holes (negative parts) where you want to position the magnets
- Slice and print
