When I upgraded from an Ender 3 to a Bambu Labs P1S, I was totally blown away by the improved quality and speed, and the ease of printing. The crumby light and resulting image quality inside the case, not so much.

There are lots of mods to upgrade the lighting, but these all seem to rely on sticking LED strips inside the case itself, or adding risers for the glass lid to then make space for LEDs. I didn't like either of these solutions as I'd previously found the adhesive on these LED strips doesn't perform too well over time at elevated temperatures - I was worried that they'd eventually peel off and get fouled in the print head when it was travelling at a gazillion MPH.

Looking at the gap under the AMS, I realised that you can fit LED strips underneath there, without the need to do anything inside the case itself. A quick test with a single strip showed this would work well, so I drew a frame and panel to mount a LOT of LEDs in there. At the back, it has mountings so it'll fit in the recesses of the AMS's case moulding, and here I've mounted a USB-C socket.

It's designed in two parts to be glued together, because I wanted to get as good a surface as possible to stick the LED strips to. You could print it in one go with support instead. The outer frame just about fits on the print bed - with a bit of jiggling to keep it clear of the home area at the front left.

The LED strips I used were these ones. Yes, there's a bunch of soldering to do for this mod, but I was OK with that. For the connections I used solid core 0.2 mm2 copper wire, which has an external diameter of 1.4mm.
