Simple print to attach an enclosure for RAK 19007 to Amazon security cam solar panel.
This is the solar panel I used: https://a.co/d/1mVprlk
Enclosure was glued onto the bottom of the panel using 3m marine adhesive. I designed a tray that slides out for maintenance without having to disturb any bird nests. There's a vent hole in the back big enough to pass a JST extension harness through. I soldered the extension to the existing battery, added a slot to pass it through the existing housing using soldering iron to melt the plastic.
There are two vent holes in the rear, and a couple of small vent slots in the top of the tray which should be fairly weather resistant to keep the RAK cool and also helps insulate/ventilate the bird nest area. There is a small ledge around the bottom to attach wood sides onto. Footprint is appropriate for wren/chickadee nests, and those size birds only require a 1.25" hole to access their nest.
Will update once the woodwork is done for the rest of the birdhouse.
