The rubber parts on my old Deltaco REV3 IPD-174 tablet stand had started to become sticky as the plastic degraded. So I modelled some new parts and printed them in Overture TPU (95 A shore hardness).

See also an older model I made for replacing one of the hard plastic parts on this same tablet stand when it cracked.

Notes on printing:

  • Overture TPU prints well with the “SainSmart TPU” profile built into PrusaSlicer.
  • Fuzzy skin on the foot works pretty well for increasing friction, though it is still not as good as the original rubber. Might be worth trying a different, less glossy TPU.

Original model was done in OneShape, here is a link to the model: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/3f8e6017671158e131596c9c/w/7f2d2282ede7a56dde4322d8/e/d15a341e27ce79aca24b7755 (there are two tabs at the bottom, one for each model)
