Stackable Holder/Storage for a Build Plate(s) Mountable Under a Table or a Shelf (for Creality, Prusa, Bambu Lab and more)

This collection of models will come in handy if you need to find a place for your build plate(s) near your printer, either under a table, a shelf or maybe inside an enclosure you made from a LACK table.

You can choose from many parts that fit and stack together. If you have one build plate, just print the base top part. If you have multiple build plates, or you plan to buy more over time, you can print additional shelve(s) depending on how many you need. Remember, these are stackable.

The following parts are available:

• Right and left sides of a shelf – in one piece.
  • These come in different lengths to accommodate build plates for Creality, Prusa, Bambu Lab and other printers (see further).
• Shelf divided in smaller pieces – front and back.
  • Might come in handy if you want to save some filament,
  • or if you need a shelf of different length.
  • You can also print multiple front parts for better support.
• Spacers to increase a shelf clearance.
  • These are available as one piece or multiple pieces.
• Top and stacking parts.
  • Top parts are flat on the top side (because they are mounted directly under a table or a shelf.
  • So, for the first shelve use parts with “TOP” in their file name,
  • for second, third and more use ones with “stacking” in their file name.

There are couple of lengths of the shelves:

  • Creality (build plate length 235 mm)
    • Ender 3 Series (Ender 3, 3S, Pro, V2, Neo, S1, S1 Pro, V3, V3 SE, V3 KE)
    • Ender 5 Series (Ender 5, 5S, Pro, S1, S1 Pro, K1)
    • K1, CR 20, CR 20 Pro, CP-01
• 250 mm suitable for
  • Průša (build plate length 253,8 mm) 
    • MK4, MK3/S/+, MK2.5/S 
  • Bambu Lab (build plate length 256 mm)
    • Lab X1 series (X1, X1 Carbon)
    • Bambu Lab P1 series (P1P, P1S)
    • Bambu Lab A1

The shelf height for one build plate is 5 mm. This is based on the fact that the length of the mounting screws increases (at least in my part of the world) in 5 mm increments. Also, I found it as a good trade off between saving your space and comfort of taking a build plate off the shelve. I recommend using screws with a diameter of 3, 3.5 or 4 mm.

Recommended print settings:

• 0.4 nozzle
• 0.2 layer height (0.1 will work as well)
• 5 perimeters
• 100% infill
• supports (easily removable with a flat screwdriver)
