WIP: I'm still fine tuning the model and playing with small dimension adjustments (when I have time) but I wanted to start sharing in case some people have comments or feedback.
Update 2024-05-26: added v0.2 variant where I tried to reduce the nuts tabs to a minimum. Been using for the last couple of days ; so far so good.
→Next  I want to look into adjusting slightly the tabs' size and see if I can bring back the inner compartment to 60mm.

V3: Angled version to reduce interference with spool

This is a the third version of my filter holder. I've angled the holder while keeping the hole pattern accessible in order to reduce the chance of interference when used with the original spool holder.

As seen in Pic.7-8 there is still a chance of interference between the holder and the spool IF the spool is placed all the way against the printer wall. In more common situation where the spool is simply placed on the holder, as seen on Pic.9, then it shouldn't causes any issues.
(At least I haven't had some compared to V1/V2 where the spool would straight up stops spinning few minutes into print.)

This model is to help with the fumes while printing ASA/ABS and odor while printing enclosed.

Filter holder is fixed directly on the exhaust fan mounting.
Interior ‘compartment’ is (currently) 58x58mm and 10mm deep. (60x60 it still fine since material is soft).
It's meant to be used with 10mm Activated Carbon filter sheet often marketed as "odor filter" or “compost odor filter for Jospeh Jospeh bins” found on Amazon and cut square.
(two 5mm filters can probably be stacked for the same thickness)
A particle filter (such as surgical mask or P95 mask) can probably be cut to size and inserted between the fan and the carbon to help filter even more.

As per V1/V2, this is designed to be printed support-less and uses the original fan screws and nuts.
Grill design is directly inspired by the original metal one.
Sliding door design is inspired by @ExtremeElementz box
