I was struggling to get work done on the computer due to throbbing pains and most often ended up with my fingers going numb. After several trips and testing at the hospital, I was diagnosed with Carpel Tunnel syndrome.

Since then, I've been trying to get ergonomic mechanical keyboards but in Malaysia, this kind of thing is pretty much in the niche market. After several attempts at purchasing an ergo-keyboard, I finally landed on the Keychron Q11 RGB mechanical keyboard.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any accessories to tent this keyboard in Malaysia. This drove me to design my tenting kit with some inspirations derived from the Moonlander and Dygma Defy keyboards. I dedicated a lot of time to designing and testing this tenting kit design to be more productive.

After 15 iterations of the design. I'm happy to be able to release this kit to the world to help others with Carpel Tunnel syndrome to be able to use their keyboards in the tenting position of their choice to reduce the strain on their wrists.

I must say, I put a lot of time and effort into this design and testing. I wanted a design that requires no assembly from the user and at the same time produces minimum waste (I'm sorry, I tried with 0 waste, it didn't fit the aesthetic I wanted).

If you believe that I have had a positive impact on your lives with this tenting kit, I would appreciate some amount of donation for the material and production costs to test, design, and reiterate. If I could achieve at least Euro750 in total donations, OR at least achieve 3500 followers on my Tiktok account, I would be happy to release this design for free

In the mean time, I'm only providing the test fit version for printables. If you'd like to try out the full tenting solution, please head on to Cults3D for the complete STLs. Apologies for the inconvenience.

As you read, I am probably moving on to my next project:
- To add steeper tenting positions (if requested)
- To add a negative tilt mechanism
- To add an adjustable cubby room for a 6-button, 1 rotary dial macropad (typical Ali Express) for the thumb cluster.
- To add palm rest design
