A straightforward drawing stencil I made while I was a marine engineering cadet.
Part of a cadet's sea phase involves drawing the many systems found onboard a ship. These systems contain valves, pumps, regulators, filters, gauges, and other components. This stencil is a collection of different simple shapes that can be put together to make many of these elements.
All shapes are provided in three different sizes to accommodate different scale drawings, as well as multiple components made from the same shape.
After being tested during my cadet time, this stencil has saved me a lot of time from drawing many repetitive elements, like valves, and ensures a neat and consistent end result.
Best results with a 0.5mm or 0.7mm mechanical pencil.
