White Board Holder / Dry Erase - Wall Mounted

I was tired of leaning back and bumping in to my dry erase board behind my chair and knocking off the eraser or marker so I created this simple wall mounted holder that is really easy to install. It holds to markers and 1 eraser.

The opening for the eraser is 40mm x 57mm.
The opening for the markers is a 20mm diameter.

I used standard Ikea screws to mount this, but the opening for the threads is 5mm diameter and the opening for the head is 9.5mm diameter. You can easily mount the screws most of the way and then use a standard screw driver to tighten the screws once you have the holder in place.

I have added a printable (paper) file with the template for the screws so you can easily see where to put them based on the wall-facing dimensions of the holder.

There are 2 versions of this holder. They are identical except that v1 (Flat Top) is flat on the top back portion next to the wall and the v2 is evenly slanted all the way on the top face. I printed v2 for my use. The holder is also slanted at a 10 degree angle so that you don't have to lift the items directly vertical, making them easier to remove and replace.

I added a few new fetures and variations. I added the ability to hold the Expo White Board Care spray bottle (in 3 different positions), a cleaning rag, and 2 small dry erase markers. I also added a back splash to catch all of the marker dust that falls off of the eraser. The screw holes are the same so that you can simply replace the old with the new one. The new features are on the left-hand side of the existing model.
