Use PETG or other outdoor rated filament. PLA will become brittle in the sun. This case is designed to slip over a standard external fiberglass antenna and mounts right on the (mounting) portion of the antenna. There shouldn't be any way it falls off. There is room inside for a 2000mah lipo battery and a heltec v3 or similar sized board. I used an SMA to N type pig tail to connect to the antenna for minimum signal loss.  There are two portholes in the case cap for the signal wire USB wire. There are internal rests for the cap so it doesn't go in to far. The cap friction fit for me well, however, I made 2 small holes on the outside for a pin or small bolt if you want it to be more secure. There is also a nub with a hole in it for something to grab while removing the cap. You can use this nub with through hole to put the pin the whole way through or put a keychain ring to open it up. You may also do nothing and grasp it with plyers, many options.

I added a second version that uses Dimples instead of holes
