A replacement x-axis cable drag chain (wire carrier) starter link for the Monoprice Maker Select 3D Printer (re-branded Wanhao Duplicator i3). The standard link attaches in a position that creates an undesirable angle and slight vertical stress in the drag chain.

This design completely replaces the first link of the x-axis cable drag chain, re-uses the existing stock screws, and has the appropriate offset built-into the printed starter link itself. Other than the print, no other parts are required.

Power unit!

Overheating of the power supply causes layers to shift and some models to print poorly. This modification solves these problems. You will need an 80mm x 80mm fan. The STP file can be loaded into a CAD program and edited for another fan.

Print: Use supports with 0.2 gap at the top and bottom.
