Filamento transparente para el cerebro impreso en 3D, preferentemente PLA.
Otro filamento para la base y los otros componentes estructurales; yo us\u00e9 PLA de madera.

Montaje y Conexiones:

PCB Brain:

Soldar todos los componentes electr\u00f3nicos en sus respectivos lugares.

Conexiones Finales:

En el m\u00f3dulo de carga, conecta el USB tipo C para alimentarlo, el cable de alimentaci\u00f3n al conector ALIM (pasando el positivo por el interruptor), y el de la bater\u00eda al conector BAT1 de la PCB Brain.
La bater\u00eda se conecta a BAT2 de la PCB Brain. (BAT1 y BAT2 es un puente).

Notas Adicionales:

La placa PCB Brain se mand\u00f3 a fabricar por la empresa JLCPCB.
Para regular la velocidad de la conmutaci\u00f3n de los LEDs, var\u00eda el valor del potenci\u00f3metro.
Una vez montado todo, tuve un problema con la alimentaci\u00f3n del m\u00f3dulo de carga, dado que necesita un consumo de 50mA y toda la electr\u00f3nica me consum\u00eda 20mA. Lo solucion\u00e9 poniendo en paralelo, en el conector de ALIM de la PCB Brain, una resistencia de 1/2W con valor de 82ohm para asegurar el consumo m\u00ednimo y su funcionamiento.

Introduction:

This interactive base with RGB LEDs is perfect for science projects and futuristic decoration. The heart of the project is a custom board that uses NE555 and CD4017 integrated circuits to alternate the colors of three RGB LEDs, creating a spectacular synapse effect. The LEDs illuminate a brain printed in transparent filament, offering an impressive visualization of the color flashes. The entire system is powered by a lithium battery charging module, ensuring efficient and portable operation.

Detailed Features:

Base Dimensions: 10cm x 10cm x 2cm.
Electronic Components:
- 3x RGB LEDs with common cathode.
- Integrated circuits: NE555 and CD4017.
- Lithium battery charging module providing a stable 5V supply. Link to the charging module
- LiPo battery. Link to the battery
- USB type C connector. Link to the connector
- PCB Brain V1.0 board. (Gerber file attached)
- 10x 1/4W resistors (1x 1Kohm, 6x 100ohm, 3x 150ohm).
- 1x 10Kohm potentiometer.
- 1x 100uF 16V electrolytic capacitor.
- 6x XH connectors (3x 2-pin, 3x 4-pin).
- 1x switch.

Recommended Materials:

Transparent filament for the 3D printed brain, preferably PLA.
Another filament for the base and other structural components; I used wood PLA.

Assembly and Connections:

PCB Brain:

Solder all electronic components in their respective places.

Final Connections:

On the charging module, connect the USB type C to power it, the power cable to the ALIM connector (passing the positive through the switch), and the battery to the BAT1 connector on the PCB Brain.
Connect the battery to BAT2 on the PCB Brain. (BAT1 and BAT2 are bridged).

Additional Notes:

The PCB Brain board was manufactured by JLCPCB.
To adjust the LED switching speed, vary the potentiometer value.
After assembly, I encountered an issue with the charging module's power supply as it requires a 50mA consumption, and all the electronics consumed only 20mA. I solved this by placing a 1/2W 82ohm resistor in parallel at the ALIM connector on the PCB Brain to ensure the minimum consumption and proper operation.
