Has anyone used this on an H model? If so, how is it performing? I have a Luba 2 3000H.
Thanks for the guards, fits well and does the job. The only weak point is threaded inserts. For the weight of the robot there should be more solid joining solution.
@WeirdUserId_1225063 Thanks for the feedback! You are also welcome to add some acetone or super glue to glue them together, but I personally have not found any need for that as I have personally found the heat set inserts more than suitable for the job
@Joel61 I am on the 3rd set since the last year. Glue indeed helps a lot, while only threaded inserts failed a few times. Most recent failure - it broke the whole arm off. Not exactly clear what exactly caused that, maybe some debry got stuck, but now I printed with 6 wall perimeters (instead of 4) and 45% infill. PETG as before.
One suggestion: blade protections can be improved by rounding the inside corners, this way it would leave less space for dirt buildup.
Having just bought a new Luba 2 I'm curious if these blade guards are a replacement for the current ones that are mounted on the Luba 2 or if this is for the Luba 1?
@TwinTurbine_2213446 Yes this is a full replacement. Works for both Luba 1 and Luba 2
Excellent design, printed and guards replaced on my Luba. I was having issues with leaves from a yucca tree getting the disks stuck. Just tested it 4x with these guards and that seems sorted now. It just mowed over them 😁. One small thing is that I had the same issue omegablue had, with the size of the hole, specially on the back of my Luba 2 as it was touching it. Not much on the front. I double checked and the guards were correct, left on Luba's left and right on Luba's right. I carved it a bit with a knive and all good. Thanks a lot. (edited)

@Marco_2097441 glad to hear you had success with them too. I have also just noticed you both have L2's where as I have an L1. So it's also possible that size has ever so slightly increased on the L2, so I will have to find time to make that slight adjustment and upload the updated stl. Thanks for the review!
@Joel_81378, i would say that both disc seals are very slightly "off centered" on my Luba 2. With both sides only touching the bearing on the back side of luba. If the screw holes were 0.5mm torwards the front, it may have been ok. I found it a bit odd though... Maybe this is an issue with my printing only.
Had to increase the diameter of the central hole by 2mm or the hub would rub against it. other than that, excellent design.

@OmegaBlue_337267 nice! 2mm looks to be too large. For your printer I would increase by 0.5mm as you want it as tight as possible so grass clippings can't get inside
@Joel61 well considering that the originals keep that part completely open I guess it should be OK?
really don't want to add unneccesary pressure one the motor.
Hey, thx, looks great but in the slicer the guard does seem to require support, would it be possible to replace that fillet with a chamfer?
@Arnout_230967 it will depend on your part cooling performance of your printer. I can try make another version of the guard that will be a bit easier to print for those users who don't have good part cooling or can't use it for materials such as ABS. I'll try get around to that this weekend
