In the spirit of the 'drawing aid' contest I was inspired to make a stencil that resembles the Nasa worm font.

Everyones favourite font now available in stencil form!

Version 2 & Version 3

V2 has no numbers and only a few special characters. V3 Has all the numbers and special characters.

Print at 0.2mm layer height, I would suggest using slower speeds because of all of the small radius'.

Both Version 2 and 3 work well with 0.4 mm and 0.5 mm fine point pens.

Version 4

Version 4 is optimised for scaleability. The original V2 and V3 were designed for fine point markers. However, if someone wanted scale the model up to use a ball point pen, the stencil would easily exceed the limits of most conventional build plates. So, Version 4 is designed  with scalability in mind.

If you use this model and scale it, i would recommend only scaling it in X and Y, otherwise, the additional thickness make it harder for the use of larger pens.

Version 4.1

This is the version printed in the pictures above, and it Is identical to version 4, just scaled 150% in X and Y. It is scaled perfectly so that its the same size as 127mm x  76mm Flash cards so it can be stored neatly with them.

I changed filament colour at 0.8mm so that the boarder of the stencil is red.

If you plan to scale any of these models I would recommend only scaling it in X and Y, otherwise, the additional thickness from scaling in Z makes it harder to use thicker pens.

If you print any of the versions and scale it, let me know how much you scaled it, and what pens it works for, so I can add it the table above.
