V4 flip cover for Leica M10 camera LCD - screen protector

V4 screen protector cover for Leica M10 series cameras

Features:

• screen cover is now flipping down 180 degree on durable hinge (enforced with steel rod made form paperclip)
• low profile 3mm bottom mount is securing to tripod mount using new printable bolt with oversized 20mm diameter head, allowing to secure it with hands
• bottom mount is centered allowing camera to stand straight, cover is laying flat on surface when flipped out to 90 degree
• easy print (no support, no rafts, no brim needed)

One standard size paperclip is needed as a source of steel wire, the one I used is made of 0.85mm wire. Use pliers to straighten the paperclip and then cut to 45mm length. After printing base mount and screen cover, make sure their orientation is like shown on pictures, then use pliers to insert the steel rod into hinge.

UPDATE (2024-07-18) : Resized mount bolt for direct print and easy fit, added option for easier finger grip. Redesigned mount base with more smooth edges.

FYI: the thumb grip shown on pictures is a slightly remixed longer version of one published by Empiricus (thanks!) - Leica M Thumb Rest , its vertical sizing is fully compatible with this screen cover.

Notes:

I printed with 0.2 resolution and it works great, for higher durability print with 0.12 resolution.
