Description

Purpose

I wanted a pocket-size case, but with some requirements. It had to have room for:

  • an LED 💡
  • a power button 📴
  • room for heatsinks, because this SBC has a lot of juice and it gets hot 🔥
Features
  • Perfect fit.
  • No wasted space.
  • Shadow line.
  • Power status indicator (LED 3 mm).
  • Power button.
  • Vent holes.
Bill of Materials

* These are all affiliate link.

- 4 pins of type 2.54 mm Right Angle Single Row Pin Header Male. Technically, you can do without these pins, and solder the wires directly onto the Orange Pi PCB.
- 4 x M2 x L8mm/L10mm SHCS Self Tapping
- 1 x 3mm LED
- 1 x Push pin 6x6x6x3.5mm

Button Behaviour
  1. The button blinks while pressed.
  2. After 3 seconds (adjustable), the OPi will shutdown.
  3. The light turns off (some pins continue to provide power after shutdown, however, so there might be some light).
Print Settings
  • Supports only for the bottom piece (for the bolt head holes).
  • Print parts are oriented.

Notes
  • The LED is a press fit. If you have trouble getting it in, just sand the hole down a bit, but I never had to in all my drafts (PLA/PETG). I used tweezers to press it in.
