Story

My friend, who is a paragliding pilot too, wanted to make a simple C-Bars for better steering by C risers of his paraglider.

There are some designs on the internet, but instead of verification other designs if they fits, it is easier design by myself.

Description

This C-Bar is for C riser with dimensions (12 x 2) mm, which are common for higher class of UP Paragliders brand (it also works with my KIBO 2).

Print settings

  • Material: PETG (ASA or PLA should work too)
  • Layer height: 0,15 mm (QUALITY profile in PrusaSlicer)
  • Perimeters: 3
  • Infill pattern: Gyroid
  • Infill density: 20%
  • Supports: Optional - if so, then supports on build plate only

Bill of Material (BoM):

  • 4 pcs of 3D printed half bar
  • 8 pcs of M3x16 Screws
  • 8 pcs of M3 Nuts

Simply clever design tip

I way too lazy to design different opening for Screw and Nuts, so I had simply clever idea make it universal and it works pretty well!

Disclamer

I am not responsible for any damage or injury on your paraglider using this custom C-Bar. Just use common sense and do not be stupid. Happy Printing and Fly safe!
