This is a model made for holding a stress ball, and that's the only thing it can make, the original model is better suited for a 65 milimetre sphere.
If your stress ball, or a spherical object has a different size, the model can also hold it, the model has a chamfer on the edge that can hold spherical surfaces of any diameter from 70 mm Ø up to 200 mm Ø, if you want to, it can be used as a display for sports balls: squash, soccer, basketball*, cricket, volleyball, bowling, you name it.
*for a basketball, I'd suggest to change the model scale from 100% to 150%, just to have a larger surface area for support.
Printing orientations:
the total printing time was 2 hours (including filament change for the highlighted areas under the model), it was printed with 3 wall-perimeters, 4 top and bottom layers.
It can be printed without any infill, since the internal overhang is 45º, but the model will be very light, so I recommend using between 4 and 6 walls
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
