These files are for my vertical hydroponic tower- included are two versions of a diverter. These are to be placed within a 2 in. x 3 in. White Vinyl Downspout Connector at the beginning of each sector (see cross section image). They have been designed to split the flow of water into two equal streams of fluid which cascades down onto the netpots in the netpot holders. The streams of water will indicate if the tower is level- if not leveled, the water will not cascade down both sides and your plants will not receive the nutrients needed. Mate the flat part of the diverter to the ridge within the downspout connector.
The diverter with a hole is for a single tower design. A tube is fed upwards from the 5 gallon bucket through each sector's diverter opening. The tube penetrates the top diverter and allows water to splash off the cap back onto the diverter where the flow is separated into two equal streams. The water cascades directly into the nutrient tank.
The diverter without a hole is for an array of towers. The external tube provides nutrients from the top of the cap and splashes water onto the diverter which separates the flow into two equal streams. Water then exits the tower array and is directed back to the nutrient tank.
