Inspired by the flowing lines of muzi's H1 case, my case allows for the following components to be used in your Meshtastic setup:

  • BME280 module for reporting temperature, humidity, pressure, air quality, ...
  • Buzzer for audible notifications.
  • GY-GPS6MV2 GPS module for reporting location coordinates, altitude, speed, ...
  • HY-4P connector for easy plug-n-play use of the M5Stack CardKB keyboard.
  • Rotary encoder EC11 for canned messages capability.

Other features worth mentioning:

  • Large USB connector cutout to accomodate a variety of cable connectors sizes.
  • Large 16 mm diameter antenna cutout for your favourite antenna of choice.
  • Inverse pigtail mount to minimise the gap between the antenna base and the case.
  • Large space for a LiPo battery up to size 974058.
  • Uses M3x6mm heat-set insert and M3x12mm hex socket cap screws.

Dimensions: 90x66x30mm, without antenna. Knob diameter maximum 16 mm.

    • Chamfered board holder lips for ease of assembly.
    • Larger button cutouts.

    • I might be forgetting some other minor changes.

Notes:

  • This is not a remix. The case has been designed from ground up.
  • STL and STEP files are available. The 3D model is free and will always be free.
  • This model does not include the custom logo visible in the showcased images.
  • This model and its remixes cannot be sold, anywhere.

It is possible to use a 2N2222 NPN Transistor to enable/disable the GPS module, although, there seem to be some issue with the current firmware preventing it to work properly.

In that case, the GPS connection needs to be modified as follows:
