With this plate, you can add a notch to any picture, board, plate, etc. and have a posibility to hang it onto a nail/hook.
The alignment tool (seen next to the plate in the full image) can be used when glueing the plate on a rectangular picture. It has an indicator for where you want to have the middle of the plate (e.g. the middle of the picture itself). It is a snug fit, but that helps to keep the plate in place.
I used hotglue to attach it to aluminium-dibond pictures, i guess it will work with double sided tape as well. Or even superglue, but be sure to test if the glue wont attack the image itself. Same goes for hotglue.
Also available are distancing feet, the same height as the plate, to keep the picture parallel to the wall. These i printed in DasFilament TPU v2. Should also work in other filaments i guess….
The plates shown are printed in DasFilament Tonweiß PLA on the Prusa Mini+. Everything printable without support.
When large pictures should be hanged, i suggest to use multiple plates.
