I'm running multiple tools and found that the BTT provided cables were unshielded and interfering with each other when rubbing against one another, causing bus communications to freak out. I made new cabling with some LDO FEP cable, but the wires coming out of the xt30(2+2) was very un-strain-relieved and in need of some help. This is the help.
Kind of snaps together. Needs a bit of CA glue. The XT30 connector has little bumps that need to go into the proper notches. It is not symmetrical. When stripping back the outer insulation, make sure there's still a bit to stick under the shell. Glue the insulation to the shell.
The RP2040 variant uses the same formfactor connector.
The shape is roughly the same as the original but with flat faces. Existing extruder mounted strain brackets may or may not fit.
