Intro:

These are adapters to mount the Simagic P-HPR (Haptic Pedals Reactor) for the Heusinkveld Sprint Pedals
 
All 3 pedals (clutch, brake, accelerator) are included.

 

Models:


You will notice that there are 2 models per pedal, labeled “cut left” or “cut right”. The idea here is to maximize contact surface area while giving you the flexibility to decide if you want the wire to dangle from the left or right of the pedal, depending on where you want to mount the control board. 

 

The clutch pedal and accelerator are different dimensions but still look very similar. The clutch has a “C” etched into it so you can easily differentiate.

Reused from your Heusinkveld Sprint Pedals (per pedal): 

  • 1X Long Hex Nut
  • 1X Short Hex Nut
  • 2X Side bolts
     

Reused from your P-HPR:

  • 4x mounting bolts

Need to acquire: 

  • 1X 25mm countersunk M4 bolt. I used the one from this kit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y3VBQT8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 

 

Recommended Print Settings:

I used Monoprice PLA+ on a Prusa MK3s+. This filament doesn't always aesthetically look the best given how light can hit it and make the quality look worse than it really is, but it prints very easily and functionally-speaking this is my favorite filament. 

I went with triangular infill with only 20% density, but I used thicker walls for rigidity. I was happy with this combination and they perform well. 

Organic supports are a must. They should come off easily. Remove the center hex nut by pushing a hex wrench through the front. It should just pop right out. 

  • PrusaSlicer 2.7.4
  • 0.4mm nozzle
  • Triangular Infill = 20%
  • Organic Supports
  • Perimeters = 4
  • Top layers = 7
  • Bottom layers = 6
  • Nozzle = 220 C
  • Bed = 60 C

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Decide where you are going to put the Simagic control box. This will determine the orientation of the model(s) that you print as the P-HPR's wire can only go one way.
  2. Print the model(s). 
  3. Mount the simagic P-HPR control box. 
  4. Disassemble your Heusinkveld pedal that you are intending to modify. 
  5. Take the long hex nut from the HE pedal and insert it into the printed adapter.
    1. This will be a tight fit. That's by design to maximize the conduction of the vibration, and minimize any chance of a rattle. Screw in a bolt to help you push it in, if needed.
  6. Inserting the short nut: 
    1. Take the 25mm bolt and insert it through the front. 
    2. Thread the flat side of the short nut onto the bolt. 
    3. Pull the bolt into its socket in the printed adapter. 
  7. Attach the P-HPR using its 4 included countersunk bolts. Note the orientation of the cable (don't pinch it). Make sure these are as tight as you can make them without cracking the plastic (which seems it would be difficult to do). 
  8. Click the adapter with the P-HPR into the square bracket of the pedal. 
  9. Align the long hex nut hole with the holes in that pedal frame. 
  10. Carefully thread the side bolts into the long hex nut through the frame. You may need to jostle the adapter a little to find the right alignment. Take your time here so you don't cross-thread anything. Tighten them down. 
  11. Mounting the pedal face:
    1. Place the pedal face into position. 
    2. Take the 25mm M4 bolt and GENTLY push it in. The goal here is to avoid popping out the hex nut. 
    3. Once you feel the bolt's end meet the hex nut, gently twist it to engage the threads.
    4. Tighten down. 
  12. Attach P-HPR wire to the Simagic control box. 
  13. Configure as “SIMMAGIC P1000/P2000 HAPTIC PEDAL REACTOR (USB ONLY)” via “ShakeIt Motors” in SimHub.
