I have a diesel heater from Vevor for camping. I designed this cover because the display is built in and is not water proof. Now the heater can stay outside without any modifications.
I designed the cover so it does not need support. Just glue the parts together after printing.
I spray painted mine with outdoor color after glueing to protect it a little bit. In The pictures it is not spray painted yet.
I printed mine with PLA because it won't be in the hot summer heat. I hope it will hold up. You might want to print it with a different material.
I printed mine with 25% infill, no supports. Take a look at you print orientation, the big top cover Plates needs no support if you place it the right way. Print every part once exept the “Top Cover Handles”, you need two of these.
All the parts fit on my X1C.
I used about 500 gramms of filament all together.
Edit: it is spray painted now, see the new pictures. And it survived a heavy rainstorm and the electronics stayed dry
