I use small lipo batteries for a number of electronics projects, and the adafruit Micro-Lipo charger works well to keep the lipo batteries charged.  I didn't want to have to worry about accidentally causing a short on the board by charging with board loose, so threw together a quick case.

The board is this one:  https://www.adafruit.com/product/4410

You'll need:

  1. 4x m2.5 3.5 (diameter) x 4 (long, or shorter) heatset inserts
  2. 4x m 2.5x12 (or 14) SHCS

I press the inserts in from the backside, until the face of the insert is just flush with the internal surface of the plastic.  Run a screw in from the back side if you need to clear the melted plastic from the face of the insert.  Once the inserts are placed, insert the board, place the cover, and insert the screws.

The case is designed for use with the USB-C version of the Micro Lipo, but would likely also work with the micro USB version.
