While making the required toolhead modifications for my ERCF V2 build, I realized that the ECAS connector I had installed kept “popping out” from the pressure in the extruder while loading filament. The ECAS was just not sitting tightly enough.
Fortunately I had the BSP connector (PC4-M10) laying around from the Exhaust Panel that I removed from my Trident a while back, so I made a quick modification to allow installing this adapter instead.
Note: When done printing, give the part some time to cool. When installing the BSP adapter, go slow! The wall behind the adapter hole is very thin and can easily break.
The author remixed this model.
Changed the ECAS adapter hole to accept a threaded BSP (PC4-M10) adapter.
