Gridfinity Leatherman Skeletool Holder

Do you have a leatherman skeletool, and want to store it in its own, custom bin? Maybe in a drawer, or with stuff stacked on top? Well do I have the model for you!

It is what it says on the tin. It's a gridfinity-compatible bin which will hold your Leatherman Skeletool nice and snug on its side (with the “Leatherman” logo facing up, it's not reversible). Stackable…sort of. I couldn't get a filled-in box with the gridfinity refined fusion file to work quite right, so while it is stackable, it is also a little wonky. Works well enough though. See the photos for details. Maybe remix to fix my mistakes?

• 1 x 3 gridfinity units, 5 units high.
• 42 mm x 126 mm and 35mm tall

Print Settings

I use different settings then are recommend by gridfinity refined. My settings are:

• 15% cubic infill
• 2 walls
• .2mm layer height
• 5 top shell layers, 3 bottom shell layers
• No supports
• Everything else default

However, gridfinity refined's recommendations are:

• Lightning infill (percentage unspecified)
• 3 walls top, bottom, and side
• No supports
• Everything else default

Both are probably fine for this tool.

Used the base gridfinity refined bin to allow for magnet insertion, and turned the leatherman to be flat to allow for stacking and easier storage.
