My recent electronic screwdriver magnetic charger holder introduced a problem. I now had nowhere to store my bits.
Originally I had a desk based bit holder and charging station that I 3D printed using the gridfinity principle. But the charging solution was janky, hence the updated version.
So that left me with the problem of storing my bits. Ten minutes in Tinkercad, 90 minutes of printing, and two 20 x 10 x 2mm neodymium magnets, held in place using super glue solved the issue.
Now my bits can be stored in easy reach, next to the charging screwdriver which hangs on my metal IKEA Vattenkar desk shelves.
I used these magnets from Amazon
