Just another plant clip, but designed to attach to a skewer (about 3.3mm) so it doesn't slip down and put any strain on delicate seedlings.
I use 125% first layer line width for good adhesion on fiddly prints like this, otherwise all default settings, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layers, I use PLA+ as it's more durable than PLA and the Elegoo PLA+ prints fantastically on my Neptune3Pro every time, I already bought all their colours, I just wish they did more!
It's a pretty tight fit but does go on, there's just enough give in PLA+ to allow some tweaking to bend the jaws a bit more closed if they got opened up too much when attaching to the stake.
The author remixed this model.
The original was too tight for my skewers which are nominally 3.2mm diameter (mostly around 3.3mm in fact) and the thick section around the skewer was too rigid to just squeeze the clip to attach. Also I wanted a smaller jaw entry for the seedling so it can't escape so easily. So I drew a new sketch from scratch following the same basic shape but introducing more flexibility around the skewer and with longer jaw arms.
