This scalable trellis uses commonly available materials to support plants that grow upwards, including tomatoes and peppers.
It's designed for single-plant support, as opposed to trough-growing where you'd have multiple plants in the same container.
You'll need
By printing just the number of parts you need, you can build upwards. You can also start lower and adjust upwards as your plants grow.
The default models are the same size, creating a tube shape - this works well in narrow pots where you can't angle your stakes. But you can scale these as you like, and as you can see in 3Stake-Tripod.3mf, it's simple to create a 3-tier tripod.
You can just use the open circle components (3 Stake - v1.stl) if you're trying to support plants or fruits. But most people will want the component with the spokes (3Stake-With-Center - v1.stl) to allow a central stake to train the plant against.
This is designed to go outside and work, not be pretty, so things that reduce print time are valued. I went for a larger nozzle and layer height with less fill density.
