Hello! This is my first published model that I made myself. I'm still understanding design so bare with me.
This is a simple and easy to print design. Originally I had my cameras hanging in the drop ceiling leaving the panel open. Well I decided to see if I can make a simple mount for this solution and so I came up with this!
It took a few tweaks and redesigns to come up with this final version(although I might make future tweaks to it, who knows). I made it so the clip was made separate so you can place it to your own preference and fit. There is a center position to be used anywhere on the drop ceiling rails. The two spits on either side are mainly used for cameras placed right up against the wall or corners. The center one still works for against the wall, however.
As I said this is my first design made in tinkercad so if there's any issues at all, please let me know. The design can be printed with or without supports as long as your overhang and bridge speeds are setup correctly. I do encourage an outer brim for the mount itself due to having very little contact with the bed and printed upright.
The clip can be inserted just to fit, however, you can glue it in if you feel the need to. The holes for the clip have a tolerance of .1mm so it should fit in without glue. If there are any issues with fitting, you can print the clip with an xy contour compensation of -0.1mm. I haven't had to worry myself about fitment and I've made too many to count.
Print settings:
Layer height: 0.1 - 0.2mm
Speed: 80 - 180mm/s
Material: PLA(anything you want to use honestly)
Infill: 10%(not crucial)
Hardware/parts needed: glue if you feel the need to permanently bond the clip and mount
