Update: Version 1, printed in PETG, broke when it sagged and the Luba backed into it. Version 2 is easier to print since most pieces lie flat, but the number of parts went up to 8. It's also slightly larger than v1 so cover the Luba a bit better. I printed the new one in Taulman Glass Fiber Nylon and it's a lot stiffer than the PETG.
I wanted something to protect my Luba from sun and rain while it's parked, and the Luba cover is very expensive for a piece of plastic. Instead, I designed this. It consists of 5 parts and is intended to use the full footprint of the Prusa XL (and even then it's too small to go all the way out over the front bumper.) The parts screw together with M3x10 flat-head (countersunk) screws and nuts, and it attaches to the attachment points on the charging station with two M5 bolts.
The pieces are large and the angled sections require support, so it uses a lot of plastic and takes a long time to print. I printed mine in PETG, but it should probably be printed in ASA to handle long-term outdoor exposure.
Footprint: 360x360 mm.
Nozzle: 0.6mm
The original Fusion file is also included if you want to modify it. The design is a bit messy though.
