Note! The polarity of the magnets is important! The clean sign needs to be attracted to the outer magnets and repelled by the inner magnets.
This will give the sign a nice positive “click” action when it moves into position.
Additionally, the original design used 1x10mm magnets, the 2x6mm magnets I used are thicker, and leave less room for the text.
Consequently, the text of this design is a bit less thick and the boundary between them is only 0.2mm, just one layer on most prints, and sometimes slicers miss it.
You may need to adjust your layer size and check the slice to verify the dividing layer gets printed correctly, or you'll have the magnets peaking through.
(This is not a big deal, you can kinda see this on my Dirty sign, the varnish I used to highlight the text seeps into the gaps around the magnet leaving a recess)
I included the solvespace files I used to create the magnet holes. They require the original STL's from here: https://www.printables.com/model/19371-dishwasher-dirty-clean-sign
