Window Planter Banister Mount

Two-piece hanger mount for window style (thin-rectangular) planters. Initially the planters were just sitting on the balcony floor but wanted more room and also allow the plants to get more sunlight. These are designed to fit the banister / handrail and use M4 hardware to bolt around it allowing for a stable mount that resists rotation. Overall these and another set of 3 have been in this location for over 4 years and have had 0 issues. I've even let the planters in place while digging around in them and they have weathered several intense storms again without issue. 

These were printed in PETG and I used a 0.6mm nozzle and large layer thicknesses both to speed up the print but also increase the strength. I recommend using whatever the thickest layers you can get away with and at least 2-3mm of perimeters to ensure it can handle the load. You could always use more than 3 per planter as well if you are unsure of the strength.
