VR Headset Hanging Mount for Next Level Racing Chair Cockpit

The headset hanger clamps around the openings of the Next Level Racing brand simulator chair. There are several shims available to ensure a snug fit despite manufacturing variations in the chair. Not all are needed, you may print just the ones that work best. 

You will need M3 square nuts, to slide into the mount. Then some ~25-35mm M3 bolts depending on your use case to attach the arm. There are recessed bolt cavities that allow some variations in bolt size used. Depends on how much shim you use in the arm. 

• Shims for arm (with oval holes) snug clamping around holes.

• Consider a strip of electrical tape along the backside of the hole for grip. 

The top must be glued on. This was a tradeoff for ease of printing without supports and quality of the finish. I used JB Weld Plastic Glue (black) very strong stuff. 

The project file and gcode file are all pieces printed together. Supports on build plate only which give support to one part of the arm.
