Designed to help easily store and organise cables by magnetically attaching them to each other or a surface (e.g metal table leg).
The magnets can be bought online and have a diameter of 10mm and depth of 3mm.
3-6mm cable diameter models are included. Typically the 4mm diameter model will fit standard USB charging cables.
Printing:
Print as two separate pieces - Click “No” when Prusa Slicer's “Multi-part object detected” dialog box comes up when opening the files. Then place the flat surfaces on the build-plate.
0.1mm Layer height and default settings Slicer. 24 min to print on MK3S+
I printed on Prusa (MK3S and Mini) with PETG & PLA. Therefore it should be fine with other materials and printers. Supports are not required.
It you're using PETG, ensure its dried first, else the assembly will be stiff and crack when snapping the lock clip in. Use PLA maybe if you're not sure of the quality of your PETG.
Note: the clip is a snug fit, therefore ensure that your cable sits well first and the magnet fits before snapping in the lock clip. If you ensure you always have the same magnetic pole facing out of the holder, you will be able to stack cables one top of each other as in the images.
