I made this model because the original one is quite uselles (i think is only cosmetical touch) when raining or water is on the road. I recommend print it with material what is qute flexible, (but also is no to flexible, you need to keep it in shape, afterwords is uselles), because when i tryed to print it from PETG (PETG is not to flexible) brakes almost immidiately after short ride.

Print Instructions

  • 0,15 speed/quality, 0,20 quality (preset in PrusaSlicer)
  • supports: organic
  • contact layers: 3 (strong), (for better postproces)
  • collar: no need is just waste of material
  • Brim: no need to use it, printed on powder coated PEI sheet (no glue need)
  • Material: Fiberlogy Fiberflex 40D - Black filament 850g (also preset in PrusaSlicer), this filament is better than the PM flex…Also is quite expensive…

this is my additional settings for this project, all magic is now on your printer.:)

Also for this upgrate you don't need additional hardware all is with your old fender.

Made with: Autodesk Fusion 360
