I needed a coat hook for my office cubicle and decided I wanted a magnetic one that I could stick to any metal cabinet. It's plenty strong enough for a light weight jacket, and will hold an adult leather jacket as long as you don't brush up against it. Remixed from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4822459

Required parts:
(5) 10x5mm N50 Super Strong Round Rare Earth Neodymium Magnets
(5) Scotch/3M 1/2" (12,7mm) Bumpers

*Note: The bumpers are necessary to stop the hook from sliding down the metal surface of the cabinet once you put some weight on it.

**Required Steps:
You have to insert a filament color change operation just before the internal magnet pocket tops are covered so that you can insert the magnets during printing.

How I Designed This

About the design process...

I run Ubuntu Linux on all my home computers. This limits my choices for CAD software so I have taught myself how to use FreeCAD since there is a native Linux version that seems to be getting more stable as time goes by.
