Puzzle description:

This Melting Block Puzzle is a well known puzzle by Thomas O'Beirne. There are eight cuboids in the seemingly filled box. The additional cuboid should be packed into the box, too.

There are many variants for this puzzle (also inexpensive variants in wood), but these often have far too large tolerances, so that there is a lot of space in the box. Here, the original measures of O'Beirne are used.

The sice of the box is 58x88x133, the pieces are 19x29x44 (2 pieces), 19x29x88, 19x58x44, 38x29x44, 19x58x88, 38x29x88, 38x58x44, and 38x58x88. The measures are taken from http://billcutlerpuzzles.com/docs/blockpacking.html

Printing instructions:

Prints are fine with no supports.

I printed the puzzle in PLA at 0.1 mm layer height.

Puzzle difficulty:

The puzzle is of medium difficulty. But for the non-expert it is hard to believe that there ia a solution.
