Puzzle description: The Parallel Polarized Soma Cube is a traditional Soma cube, but stretched with different factors for the different dimensions. Here, the side length ratio for the resulting cuboid is 3:4:5.
The aim of the puzzle is to built a 3x3x3 cuboid using the 7 pieces.
Compared with the Soma Cube (using unit cubes instead cubiods), the orientation for the pieces is more restricted here, only 180 degree rotations are possible. As a result, there is only one solution for this puzzle.
If you can read German: Mehr Informationen gibt es in https://welt-der-geduldspiele.blogspot.com/search?q=3D-Druck
Puzzle difficulty: The puzzle is probably easier than the original Soma Cube because of the restricted orientation of the pieces.
Printing instructions: The model STL file was generated using PuzzleCAD: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3198014
I printed the puzzle in PLA at 0.1 mm layer height. It is not possible to print all parts in the same orientation without support. So the pieces are split into two STL files. Then no supports are needed.
